GRANT CYCLE
The 2023- 2024 grant cycle opens on August 1, 2023, and closes on November 1, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
GRANT AMOUNT
The grant cycle provides $500 grants to all selected grantees.
WHO QUALIFIES
Anyone who is a BIPOC woman living in the US who has been diagnosed with breast cancer or is a breast cancer survivor may apply.
If you have received a grant in the past you may still apply.
INTERNAL APPLICATION REVIEW
Internal review of applicants takes place from November 1 through December 31, 2023. Our KAB Give Back Grant Program Manager reviews all applications and disqualifies anyone who does not qualify. To qualify, you need to be a BIPOC breast cancer survivor living in the USA.
SELECTION COMMITTEE
Selection of grant recipients takes place from November 15, 2023 to December 15, 2023. A group of independent BIPOC breast cancer survivors select the final grantees who will receive $500. Each. The grant reviewers are volunteers and are not paid.
The selection committee votes on each application with a score of 0-5.
GRANT DISBURSEMENT
Grant funds are paid to selected Grantees on or before March 1, 2024.
