Keep A Breast's Survivor Retreat

The Keep A Breast Foundation (KAB) with a mission to empower young people around the word with breast health education and support, has created a retreat to heal, rejuvenate, and explore the power of self-care. Breast cancer survivors will have the opportunity to ROAR (rest, open, align, and restore) with relaxed minds and open hearts in beautiful surroundings.
KAB has extensively supported breast cancer survivors for the least 17 years through our Treasured Chest Program. Giving women the opportunity to confront the changes, both physical and emotional, that they are forced to face, when diagnosed with breast cancer in a supportive, creative atmosphere.
Please join us for 4 days and 3 nights at the beautiful Playa Viva Eco Resort in Juluchuca, Mexico for the Keep A Breast Survivor Retreat. We will enjoy enjoy the rugged, unspoiled beauty of Mexico in the guilt-free luxury of an environmentally-conscious resort.
The Journey To ROAR
Rest: We all need some rest, and in order to heal it’s important to take time out of your everyday routine, to unplug, to put your feet in the warm sand and the salty sea, and to release some baby sea turtles with your bestie.
Open: We have created a special workshop experience called Heal the Cause, where we will look deep into our spiritual and emotional beings at the cause of our cancer, and heal through guided meditation and kinesthesiolopgy.
Align: Daily yoga and meditation lead by breast cancer survivor and yogi Claire Petretti Marti, of Ocean Soul Yoga. We will get into some fun partner poses and chanting sing a longs that will bring us peace and joy.
Restore: To seal in all of the good work we are doing, we have incredible massage therapists who will hold space and provide treatments with an ocean view to all who attend.
