KAB Celebrates 25 Years of Impact in 2025!
This year marks 25 incredible years since Keep A Breast (KAB) began! That’s 25 years of impact—hosting breast cast exhibitions, educating young people worldwide, and building a diverse, supportive community where ALL are welcome. For 25 years, we’ve been HERE for YOU, making breast health more accessible and reducing breast cancer risk.
As we celebrate this milestone, we need your help to sustain our mission. Your support—whether through one-time donations or by joining our “$25 for 25” Giving Campaign—ensures we can continue empowering and supporting breast cancer patients and survivors for the next 25 years.
Now, while we can’t share everything with you just yet, here’s a sneak peek at some of the BIG things we have planned for this special anniversary year!
Dolly Parton Valentine Returns to Belly Up Tavern
Now in its 3rd year, Dolly Parton Valentine takes place at Solana Beach’s famous Belly Up Tavern.
LIVE MUSIC: The tribute of Dolly’s hits from the 60’s to today features Keep A Breast Creative Director, Nena Anderson, (celebrating her 5th year of no evidence of breast cancer!) and Brawley, as well as special guest vocalists.
Get your General Admission or VIP tickets now.
ONE-OF-A-KIND ART AUCTION: The annual event will also showcase a series of breast casts on exhibition, available for auction online beginning on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2025. Anyone will be able to participate in the virtual auction. More details coming soon!

A KAB Research Study for Asian American and Pacific Islander Women
We are thrilled to have received grant funding to make KAB App improvements and conduct a research study aimed at better understanding the relationship Asian women have with their breast health. More details soon to come, but for now, we are grateful for the opportunity to address increased rates of breast cancer in Asian women under 50 across the U.S.
Five Years of Giving Back
This year marks five years of our Give Back Grant program, awarding funding to women of color who are breast cancer patients and survivors. With the conclusion of this latest grant cycle disbursement, we’ll have awarded $623,000 in grants to BIPOC women in need.
Our grant program is unique in that the funding is unrestricted, allowing these awardees to use the money as they see fit in the difficult circumstances that are being a breast cancer patient or continuing along the journey of survivorship, all with the additional impact of discrimination and de-prioritization in the healthcare system that women of color, including black women, often face. Hear from previous grantees on Instagram about how this program helped them.
JOIN US IN GIVING BACK: Support grantees with a donation to the Give Back Grant program today, and/or become a recurring GBG donor to help us sustain the program for future women of color breast cancer patients and survivors in need.
The KAB Valley
We’re developing a holistic wellness center in our high desert community to address the expressed need for more resources and support during one of life’s most intense moments—battling or recovering from breast cancer.
This sanctuary will serve patients, survivors, and their loved ones. Guided by introspection, community input, and extensive land studies, we’re committed to honoring the land and going above and beyond the regulations required. Stay tuned for more details as part of our 25th Anniversary Celebration.
Vans Warped Tour Returns & So Do We!
