Keep A Breast App SUMMER Fundraising Drive: Your Support Matters

Announcing the Keep A Breast (KAB) App Summer Fundraising Drive, running from August 1st to August 15th. We have an urgent need to fundraise $40,000, aiming to ensure that our critically essential breast self-check app, the KAB App, can continue to provide life-saving breast health education to people around the world. Here’s why your donations are crucial and how the KAB App is making a difference.

Why We Need Your Help

The KAB App is currently down in the Google Play Store due to needing critical updates. To bring it back online and ensure it remains a reliable resource for breast health education, we need to raise $40k. This amount will cover the costs of the required updates, ensuring the app continues to function smoothly and effectively.

The Impact of the KAB App

With over 50,000 users in 110 countries, the KAB App is a trusted tool and potentially life-saving resource,  for people seeking guidance on how to perform breast self-checks. Here are some of the ways our app is making a significant impact:

Educational Resource: The KAB App offers comprehensive breast health education, helping users learn how to perform self-checks correctly and understand what to look for. This educational aspect is crucial for early detection and awareness.

Free Access:  Thanks to our generous supporters, we can offer the KAB App for free. This ensures that everyone, regardless of financial status, can access this important health resource.

Global Reach: The app provides access to breast health education in remote areas, including villages in India, Bangladesh, and parts of Africa, where such information might otherwise be unavailable.

Multilingual Support: Currently available in Spanish, English, and French, the app helps break down language barriers. We aim to expand to more languages in the future to reach even more people.

Direct Healthcare Connection: The KAB App is the only breast self-check app that connects users directly with healthcare providers through our partnerships with Carbon Health in the USA and FUCAM in Mexico. This feature ensures users can get professional advice and support when needed.

Supportive In-App Tools: The app includes a scheduling tool that sends monthly reminders for self-checks and a note-taking feature to help you document anything abnormal. These tools empower users to stay proactive about their breast health.

Your Donation Makes a Difference

A donation of just $5 funds breast health education for five people using the KAB App. Imagine the impact your contribution can make!
